With a shared Epicurean outlook on life, love and food, Australian transplant and self-trained cook Sarah “Sonny” Collins and company marketing director and partner Chad Anderson started Seattle Canning Company in hopes to one day transition out of corporate America and into a more "soulful" proprietorship.

Using organic, local and regionally grown produce from independent farmers throughout Washington, Sarah & Chad are committed to bringing the natural goodness that defines the Pacific Northwest

Seattle Canning Company was established in 2014 by and began selling solely at the Vashon Island Farmers Market. Since then, SeaCanCo has grown with participation in over six Seattle based farmers markets, seasonal showings at The Northwest Flower & Garden Show and Urban Craft Uprising as well as on the shelves of some of Seattle most iconinc shops including Williams Sonoma, The Pantry founded by Brandi Henderson, DeLaurenti Food and Wine in Seattle Pike Place Market, New Seasons Market in Mercer Island and Vashon's original nursery and farm store, The Country Store and Farm.

Braving a crowded marketplace and battling for shelf space, owners Sarah and Chad remain self-assured, despite the odds, that good people want good food and their small batch, owner operated, hand-made philosophy is aligned towards that desire.
